Mini Pay BOXX — Compact Parking Pay Station
The Mini Pay BOXX brings full Parking BOXX pay station capability to smaller footprint installations. Surface lots, secondary parking areas, and overflow locations get credit, debit, and mobile payment acceptance in a weatherproof unit connected to CloudEASE.
Right-sized for the location. Full-featured for the operation. Parking Made Easy®.
Full Pay Station Capability in a Compact Form
The Mini Pay BOXX is the right-sized pay station for locations where a full-sized unit would be over-engineered for the available space or the traffic volume. Surface lots with fewer than 200 spaces, secondary lots adjacent to primary facilities, employee overflow areas, and satellite parking for campuses and business parks are common deployments.
Payment acceptance covers the full range of modern methods. Credit and debit cards process through an EMV-compliant terminal. Contactless mobile payments — including NFC-equipped smartphones and wearables using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and similar platforms — are supported out of the box. Optional cash acceptance is available for locations where some parkers still carry bills.
Rate configuration in CloudEASE applies the same flexibility available on larger Parking BOXX pay stations. Hourly rates, daily maximums, time-of-day pricing, validation codes, and event rate overrides all work through the Mini Pay BOXX. The smaller hardware footprint does not limit the rate management capability.
Receipt printing is integrated. Parkers who want a receipt get one from the same unit that processed their payment — no separate receipt printer kiosk to maintain. Receipt paper alerts through CloudEASE notify staff before the roll runs empty.
Weatherproof Design and CloudEASE Integration
The Mini Pay BOXX is built for outdoor deployment without a shelter or enclosure. The weatherproof housing is rated for the temperature range and precipitation conditions across North American climate zones, from Canadian winter lows to Gulf Coast humidity. The display is readable in direct sunlight. The card reader is protected from rain and snow intrusion.
Network connectivity options include Ethernet for facilities with existing parking infrastructure and cellular modem for installations where running a new network cable is impractical. Both connectivity methods deliver the same CloudEASE real-time reporting capability. Cellular-connected Mini Pay BOXX units report to CloudEASE over LTE without any facility network dependency.
Equipment health monitoring through CloudEASE covers the Mini Pay BOXX the same way it covers every Parking BOXX device. Receipt paper level, card reader status, network connectivity, power status, and transaction error rates are all monitored remotely. Alerts go to designated staff by email or SMS so equipment issues are identified before parkers encounter them.
Where the Mini Pay BOXX Is Deployed
Surface lots with moderate traffic are the most common Mini Pay BOXX deployment. A 50- to 150-space lot with steady but not peak-volume traffic does not need the throughput capacity of a full pay station lineup. The Mini Pay BOXX at one or two entry or exit points handles the transaction volume efficiently while keeping equipment cost proportional to lot size and revenue potential.
Secondary and overflow parking areas adjacent to primary garages use the Mini Pay BOXX to maintain managed parking revenue across the full facility footprint. Overflow lots that charge the same rate as the primary garage can use a Mini Pay BOXX at an unmanned exit point while the primary garage continues operating with full-size equipment.
Campus and business park satellite lots use the Mini Pay BOXX at remote parking areas where running full infrastructure is impractical. The cellular connectivity option makes these installations viable without trenching new conduit or pulling network cable across campus.
For larger lots or facilities requiring full pay-on-foot capability, Parking BOXX also manufactures the Big Pay BOXX. Both connect to the same CloudEASE instance, so operators with mixed-size facilities manage all pay stations from a single dashboard.
