This Year's Prompt
Write a response of 500–1,000 words to the following question:
"How can smart parking systems reduce urban congestion and improve the driver experience?"
We're not looking for the "right" answer. We're looking for clear thinking, real-world awareness, and a point of view that's your own. Draw on your field of study — engineering, urban planning, business, computer science, environmental science — or bring in perspectives from your life experience.
How to Apply
- Write your response — 500–1,000 words answering the prompt above. Plain text, Word doc, or PDF all accepted.
- Include your information — Name, school, year of study, program/major, and a brief (2–3 sentence) bio.
- Submit your entry via our contact page before the deadline of December 31, 2026.
- One submission per student. No application fee. No membership required.
The winner will be selected by the Parking BOXX team and notified by email. The winning essay will be featured on this page and may be shared on Parking BOXX social media channels (with permission).
